Choosing an Assisted Living

Smith Integrated Care Services' care managers enjoy helping clients understand what assisted living homes have to offer. They appreciates the opportunity to tour these communities with you, ensuring you remember to ask all the questions that will help you choose the right, long-term fit.

Assisted Living is really about community. The level of care they provide allows you to stay there as you decline (however long that may be), but the draw of leaving your home is really the company of peers. Finding the community that is the right fit for you in this time of your life is as important as finding the right college or community was when you were finished with high school.

Other factors, including cost, types of care available, and staff culture, are also extremely important. Since we hope to find you a forever home, Smith Integrated Care Services is aware of which homes have what you need: a larger space, a guarantee you can stay if funds become limited, parking or transportation, and many other factors that could be important to you. Our care managers are committed to supporting your ability to have as much autonomy as possible, for as long as possible.
